I went to see Bad Teacher on Friday morning which is a strange, yet lovely time slot to watch a raunchy comedy. Near empty theatre, strange moments of raucous laughter, popcorn before noon. Excellent. And just in case we needed more reasons to want women to headline comedies (I know, I know, get off your soapbox you cray cray feminazi!) but Cameron Diaz was like early 80’s Bill Murray, honey-badgering it up, not giving a shit and being super hilarious.

The only weird thing was this uber-obese man sitting three seats away who not only had a massive amount of food surrounding him (and yeah, I was jealous of his snacks, okay?) but also an aura of authority, like he’s a movie reviewer, or hosts some secret yet totally popular pop culture vlog or something. Anyway I kept looking over to see if he was laughing but he wasn’t, he was taking the whole thing way too seriously and then I realized he probably meant to see Green Lantern, because from what I’ve seen in the trailers that mess looks hilarious.
